Anti-Drug Initiative (ADI)

ADI is a web based diversion program for non-violent, first and second time drug offenders.  This on-line program is accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week and successful completion of the programs allows for “no filing” of the referring charge by the State Attorney’s Office. ADI also includes a Level 2, which is a 12 week individual face to face intervention program

Comprehensive Community Support Teams (CCST)

CCST teams are available in Bunnell, Daytona Beach, DeLand, New Smyrna Beach, Palatka and St. Augustine.  They provide medical and clinical support services to individuals with severely and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.  Teams are comprised of psychiatrists, advanced registered nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, case managers, life skills coaches and a team leader.  Services include psychiatric evaluation, treatment planning, medication management, nursing services, therapy and case management.

Forensic CCST (FCCST)

FCCST provides services to persons referred by the Circuit Seven Courts who have been found to be Incompetent to Proceed or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity on a felony charge. Persons are monitored while they are in one of the forensic state hospitals and are supervised in the community under a conditional release plan once they are discharged. FCCST also provides case management services to persons being released from prison who need continued mental health services in the community.

Enrichment Program

The Enrichment Program offers both facility (Enrichment in Daytona Beach and Step-Up in Palm Coast psychosocial rehabilitation and adult day training) and community (Supported Employment) based rehabilitation programs serving individuals with disabling conditions and the business community. Enrichment and Step-Up offer groups/classes designed to help individuals learn, regain or increase skills that will enable them to live and work more fully in the community of their choice. Supported Employment provides assistance to individuals desiring competitive employment in the community. That assistance includes job matching, job development and placement, on-site training assistance and follow-along services to help obtain and maintain employment.
Enrichment Industries has product manufacturing and janitorial/grounds keeping service contracts that provide vocational training and employment opportunities while providing quality, cost-effective products and services for private, public, State and Federal customers.

Adult Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling (AOP)

AOP is primarily but not exclusively for clients involved in child welfare and legal system in Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns, and Putnam Counties. Services primarily involve individual and/or group services.

Adolescent Outpatient Subtance Abuse Counseling (ADOP)

ADOP is a treatment program for youth, offered at 5 different locations throughout Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns Counties.  Services include individual and group therapy, family involvement, and other research based approaches to effect a positive change in the client. 

SMA Pharmacy

The SMA Pharmacy provides our clients with quick and easy access to medications prescribed by our psychiatrists, physicians, and nurse practitioners.  Patient Assistance Specialists are also available to help clients access new atypical anti-psychotic medications that they otherwise could not afford.

Florida Assertive Community Treatment Program (FACT)

FACT provides comprehensive, community based services to 100 individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness, have had multiple psychiatric hospitalizations, and who have not been able to live successfully in the community on their own.  The team provides a wide scope of services and provides crisis assessment and intervention 24/7 for these individuals. 

Family Intervention Specialists (FIS)

The FIS works with families who are involved in the Child Welfare system who are experiencing substance abuse and/or mental health who may be at risk of losing their children. Services include case management services and provide access and linkage to treatment services. Services can be provided in the home and in the community.

Child and Adolescent Case Management (TCM)

TCM is provided in Putnam and St. Johns Counties.  Services include assistance to individuals and their families in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other related services. 

Community/Court Liaison Services (Outreach)

Outreach workers in Volusia, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties assure that assessments and recommendations are accurately reported to the courts, as well as act as a liaison to the courts and other referral sources to help offenders access treatment services within SMA.

Volusia County Department of Corrections

This DOC program provides mental health screening, psychiatric services, crisis intervention, and discharge planning to inmates in the Volusia County Branch Jail and the Volusia County Correctional Facility.
